A top 1% ranked hospital in the region is seeking a dynamic director for their award winning, level 2 trauma center that sees an annual census of 22K, with a 20% acuity ratio. The director will work 96 clinical hours/40 admin hours a month.
The ED provides exceptional coverage with double and triple coverage daily amongst both attendings and mid-levels, for a 1.2 patient per hour per physician ratio. They use the Cerner medical records system and scribes are on board as well.
Earnings are based on $250 an hour for days and $275 an hour for nights with additional time and ½ for holidays, paid meetings, CME and full malpractice plus tail as the employee of a highly regarded, regional group. The director will also earn a generous stipend.
The location is ideal for raising a family in a small city with easy proximity to larger, urban centers like Chicago, Madison and Milwaukee as well as St. Louis.
