A highly regarded healthcare system in the area is seeking three new physicians for addition to the staff at a dual campus location. The combined census is over 40K and one of the sites is a level 3 trauma center with full EMS base command.
Candidates must be residency trained in emergency medicine and 2022 grads are welcome to apply. An ABEM grandfathered physician with great experience will also be considered.
The larger of the two just opened a brand new state-of-the-art ED this year. The other site is only 4 years old. Shifts are both 9 hours and 12 hours and coverage is excellent with 40 hours of daily coverage. Admission rates are 30% in the trauma center and 7% in the smaller community hospital.
Physicians will work as independent contractors with full malpractice coverage and earn $225 an hour in the smaller ED and $250 an hour in the larger site.
